For those who are new to my blog, I make film and television programme edits on my YouTube channel. This is one of my most recent edits (having only been finished today). I'll admit that this isn't my best piece of work but I'm still pretty pleased with it. I'm still getting used to using Final Cut Pro and to be honest, I'm surprised it turned out as good as it did - especially after I lost the storyline to it.
I enjoy experimenting with different effects both visually and audibly during these sort of edits. I tend to use different filters on my computer to try and add different effects or to place the clips in a new light to see if it fits better. This is very useful for my media coursework as I am planning on putting my short film through a filter. This means that I must find a filter that I believe is suitable for my film and that will require a lot of searching because I think the filter I used last time would be too dim for the theme and style of my coursework this year.
